Check when a domain's SSL certificate expires, from the command line.

Connects to a domain's HTTPS port and reads the certificate expiry dates without a browser. The notAfter date is when the certificate expires - anything under 14 days needs immediate renewal.

When you need this: When checking if a certificate is about to expire or after a renewal to confirm the new date.
